A STATEMENT SKIRT

Top- boohoo // skirt - Topshop // Boots - Primark

Hey everyone,
Similarly to my last post, this outfit highlights how much I do love wearing black with one statement piece.. This time instead of wearing all black and a pop of colour for my shoes; I decided to pair this very cute, very girly pink check skirt. I love this skirt because it is very different from anything else I own!! Paired with a baggy v-neck and some heeled suede boots this skirt makes the perfect outfit; I actually wore this to one of my friends 18th birthday parties!

Hope you enjoyed this little post!
See you soon,

A statement shoe

Jeans - topshop // Top - H&M // Heels - New Look

Hey everyone,
I hope you're all well!
This week it is my older sisters 20th birthday so before all of her friends went back to uni, she threw herself a birthday bash!
I felt that it wasn't my place to go all out in a dress and heels so I went for the slightly reserved party look pairing ripped jeans with a classic off-the-shoulder crop and a pair of heels! I have probably mentioned this before but these are my all time favourite jeans; not only are they super stylish and can be dressed up or down really easy, they are actually also super comfy (thank god for topshop jeans!!!!) Again, these heels have appeared on the blog before but they need lots of recognition, especially as they were only £9 (I still can't believe it!!) Now, I'm not normally the best person to wear stiletto heels, especially if I've had a few drinks but I found they were actually surprisingly comfortable and easy to walk in!

That's all from me today, but I will be posting another 18th birthday outfit early this week!
Thanks for reading, hopefully I'll see you soon.

YONEQ: GRECIAN STYLE CO-ORD

Co-ord - YONEQ // crop top - Primark // Jeans - H&M // Heels - New Look

Hey everyone,
YONEQ (previously name young&free store) sent me this beautiful co-ord set and I love it. The indigo-blue against the stark white gives this set that Grecian feel which makes me extremely depressed thinking I was only in Greece myself a couple of months ago in the beautiful sunshine and now I am stuck at home doing homework watching the increasingly grey and rainy weather of the typical English day!

As you can see from my pictures this co-ord set is extremely versatile whether you want to wear it as a full set, if not you can pair the shorts with a simple crop or the top with your favorite pair of ripped jeans. I might be able to squeeze a couple of wears out of the full set/shorts before the weather becomes too unbearable to bear that much flesh, but otherwise this top is the perfect middle-way between a casual t-shirt and a very smart/formal blouse!

YONEQ have a great collection which I definately recommend checking it out; whether you want casual or dressy YONEQ have it!! Go visit their website: http://www.yoneq.com/

Hope you're all well and I will see you again very soon!

LUXEMME LOVIN'

Co-ord set - Luxemme // Heels - New Look

Hey everyone,
I apologise for my absence and lack of posts recently but with going to Leeds Festival (which was amazing!!) and other bits and bobs I've just had no time to blog, but now I'm back!!

This weeks I was so excited when my gorgeous Luxemme two-piece arrived and it did not disappoint!
Not only is the colour super chic and on trend, which can be both worn in summer and of course the rapidly approaching autumn months; the suede material is different from anything I own which is great to add some variety into my wardrobe. So, to anyone out there who is looking for the perfect co-ord set this is definitely it! However, this set is a part of the limited edition collection so be quick whilst stocks last. Also this set is only £35 which personally I think is such a great price for the quality and style.

Any who, I definitely reccommend everyone checks the Luxemme website out because their clothing range is stunning and somewhere I will definately be shopping again and again and again!!!(https://www.luxemme.com/).

See you soon,

"RIPPED JEANS KINDA DAY!"

Jeans - Boohoo // Top - Primark // Converse

Hey everyone,
Yesterday I posted a pic on Instagram in my boyfriend ripped jeans, and then thought that I could do a little post on them!

I live in jeans, but all my jeans up until now were very skinny, so a few months ago I decided to venture out and plunge for a pair of boyfriend jeans... And i'm so glad I did! This particular pair are from Boohoo and they are sooo comfy! Also, the rips create that edgy, right-on-trend look that I love to experiment with. At the moment, ripped jeans are definately my go-to bottom, as they go with everything and can be dressed up or down (I am currently on 4 pairs of ripped jeans and rapidly growing!!).. but I will be doing a separate post just for ripped denim in the near future, so I won't divert too much!

Thanks for reading, see you soon!

CAMEL, CAMEL & MORE CAMEL!

Hey everyone,
Yesterday I went to Sheffield with one of my close friends and fellow bloggers Nikita (I'll link her blog/Instagram below). When we first met at the train station, we realised that we looked like twins with our black/camel/sandal combinations; we promise it wasn't planned!!! I can already tell this autumn/winter, my go-to colours are definitely going to be black, white, camel, khaki and grey (how girly of me!!). Therefore, it's perfect that all the shops are filled with these colours, but not so perfect for my bank balance which is rapidly decreasing after I went shopping three times last week! (whoops..)

Sheffield definately through some curve balls at us yesterday, as the weather was appalling (classic England!), so I was constantly fighting a battle between the wind and keeping my hair down, as most of you will know long hair and wind is not the best combination... So sorry if I look rather windswept in these photos!

Hope you enjoy this post!
See you soon,
Love Emma xxxx

IT'S ALL IN THE ACCESSORIES

Hey everyone,
This week I have spent so much money, I don't want to admit it.. my bank balance is getting lower and lower. But hey ho, I got a lot of gorgeous new stuff... So I can't be too sad! This post is just showcasing a few accessories I purchased, but I will be doing full outfit posts of the other purchases very soon!

First of all, the heels. Now I went into New Look to buy my sister some PJs she wanted, but naturally as the Pjs are located next to the shoes, I had to have a quick look. And low and behold I found these gorgeous heels and best of all they were in the sale for £9! If the style and colour didn't do it, the price definitely made a place for them in my very very cosy shoe rack (a girl can never have too many shoes right!? My dad would definitely disagree!!) I'm loving coral right now as it is a perfect representation of summer (and again looks great with a tan!! I really must stop saying that!) but it can also be worn in winter with all black just for a little pop of colour to brighten up the dull winter days!

Second was this No7 lipstick which I actually got for free! All I would say is if you wear No7 make-up get yourself down to boots because if you buy 2 items no matter how cheap or expensive they are you get a free gift worth £24 which contains a gorgeous skin illuminator/highlighter, deep purple eye-shadow and mascara; plus a voucher for a free perfect match lipstick. I choose the shade 'Ginger Rose' (860) in the moisture drench range, which has a beautiful reddy-brown pigment and still locks in moisture, so you can wear this lipstick all day without your lips drying out big time!! Definite must have!!

Finally, I bought this cute little mug from Clinton cards which was reduced to £2.99... As you will all know I naturally love the monochrome design and simplistic 'E'. Obviously, it's perfect for a lovely cup of English chaaa, a cheeky hot chocolate or even for household uses like to store your make-up brushes... whatever you fancy really!!

Thanks for ready! Hopefully see you soon!
